Public Events

Air shows are one of my biggest passions, and challenges, when it comes to photography. The USAF Thunderbirds are stationed at Nellis AFB in Nevada, and have been flying since 1953. These photos were taken at their 2011 performance at the Andrews Airforce Base Joint Services Open House.

I have always loved air shows and the spectacular flying of various demonstration flight teams. One of my favorite teams are the Blue Angels, based out of Pensacola, Florida, began in 1946. These photos are from their 2026 performance at Patuxent River Naval Air Station.

This was an AMAZING event that I had the pleasure of shooting with a group of other Southern Maryland photographers. Good music and fantastic pyrotechnics.
